Absalom born 9 June 1826 in Adams County and died 16 August 1910 in Apanoose County, Iowa

They probably had other children but these are the ones for which names are available. The deaths of the children in Ohio in the 1830s can probably be attributed to cholera. There was a series of cholera epidemics in northern Kentucky at the same time. It is estimated that at least half of the populaton of Maysville, KY was wiped out due to cholera in the early 1830s.
