226. Robert⁸ GOODLOE (George⁹, Henry¹⁰, George¹¹ GUDLOE, Thomas¹² GOODLOWE) was born in Caroline County, VA, April 4, 1741. He died January 25, 1797 in Granville County, NC, at 55 years of age.

He married Sarah SHORT 1768. She was born in Northampton County, NC August 14, 1745. She died June 2, 1814 in Maury County, TN, at 68 years of age. Sarah's occupation: Homemaker.

Robert's occupation: Planter.

Robert GOODLOE and Sarah SHORT had the following children:

227 i. William⁷ GOODLOE was born, October 22, 1769.

228 ii. John M. GOODLOE was born, March 1, 1771.

229 iii. Elizabeth GOODLOE⁽²⁷⁰⁾ was born, August 17, 1773.

230 iv. Henry GOODLOE was born, August 7, 1774.

+ 176 v. David Short GOODLOE was born July 26, 1776.
