He died February 12, 1911 in Scranton, Lackawanna County, PA, at 72 years of age.⁽¹³³⁾ His body was interred in the Reese/Davies family plot, Dunmore Cemetery, in Dunmore, Lackawanna Co., PA.⁽¹³⁴⁾

He married three times. He married Sarah JENKINS in Aberdare, Glamorganshire, South Wales, May 10, 1859.⁽¹³⁵⁾ She was born in ?MerthyrTydfil, Glamorganshire, South Wales 1837. Sarah was the daughter of Thomas JENKINS and (------) UNKNOWN. She died 1885 in Scranton, Lackawanna County, PA, at 48 years of age. Her body was interred 1885 in Dunmore, Lackawanna Co., PA, Dunmore Cemetery.⁽¹³⁶⁾ He married (Unknown) UNKNOWN in Scranton, Lackawanna County, PA, circa 1888.⁽¹³⁷⁾ She was born circa 1850. She died before 1904. He married Elizabeth BEDDOE in Scranton, Lackawanna County, PA, 1904.⁽¹³⁸⁾ (Additional notes for Elizabeth BEDDOE⁽¹³⁹⁾) She died after 1911 in Scranton, Lackawanna County, PA.

Henry's occupation: Mine-Foreman in Scranton, Lackawanna County, PA, until 1909. He and his wife came to the United States around 1860. At the time of his death he was writing his memoirs, entitled "Memories of Aberdare," for Y Drych, a Welsh language newspaper in Utica, NY.

88 iii. Philip Jenkins DAVIES⁽¹⁴⁴⁾ was born, 1869.⁽¹⁴⁵⁾ He died 1937 in Scranton, Lackawanna County, PA, at 68 years of age.⁽¹⁴⁶⁾ His body was interred in Shady Lane Cemetery, in Chinchilla, Lackawanna Co., PA. He married Katherine JOHNSON in Scranton, Lackawanna County, PA.⁽¹⁴⁷⁾ (Additional notes for Katherine JOHNSON⁽¹⁴⁸⁾) She died after 1937.

Phil's occupation: Physician in Scranton, Lackawanna County, PA, until early 1937. Dr. Phil was a member of the First Welsh Baptist Church. He is listed as Chairman of the Men's Mass Meeting on the occasion of the church's Seventy-Fifth Anniversary Program.

89 iv. Sarah Jane DAVIES⁽¹⁴⁹⁾ was born, 1871.⁽¹⁵⁰⁾ She died October 1944 at 73 years of age. Her body was interred in the Reese/Davies family plot, Dunmore Cemetery, in Dunmore, Lackawanna Co., PA.⁽¹⁵¹⁾ She married Jay REESE May 15, 1903. He was born July 1872.⁽¹⁵²⁾ He died in 1907 at 34 years of age. His body was interred December 26, 1907 in the Reese/Davies family plot in Dunmore Cemetery in Dunmore, Lackawanna Co., PA.⁽¹⁵³⁾

90 v. Lilian M. DAVIES⁽¹⁵⁴⁾ was born, 1873.⁽¹⁵⁵⁾ She died 1959 in a nursing home, ME or MA, at 85 years of age. Her body was interred in the Reese/Davies family plot, Dunmore Cemetery, in Dunmore, Lackawanna Co., PA.⁽¹⁵⁶⁾ She never married.

91 vi. Harry P. DAVIES⁽¹⁵⁷⁾ was born, 1875 or 1877.⁽¹⁵⁸⁾ He died May 1917 at 41 years of age.⁽¹⁵⁹⁾ His body was interred May 12, 1917 in Dunmore, Lackawanna Co., PA, Dunmore Cemetery.⁽¹⁶⁰⁾ He married Sarah DAVIS about 1900. She was born in 1878. She died January 1925 at 46 years of age. Her body was interred January 9, 1925 in the Dunmore Cemetery, in Dunmore, Lackawanna Co., PA.⁽¹⁶¹⁾

92 vii. Howard Philip DAVIES⁽¹⁶²⁾ was born, April 17, 1877. He died October 11, 1959 in Scranton, Lackawanna County, PA, at 82 years of age. He married May RICHARDS. May was the daughter of Thomas RICHARDS.

Howard's occupation: Secretary, School District in Scranton, Lackawanna County, PA.
