MAVERICK

Bret Maverick (Gibson) is on his way to the biggest poker
game in the west. The winner will walk away with a half
million dollars, however, someone doesn't want him to make
it to the game.
He does encounter a few problems such as a run away stage,
a bag full of rattlesnakes, outlaws, gun fights, fist fights,
and an Indian chief.
Jodie Foster is a scam artist, James Garner (who played the
original Bret Maverick role in the Emmy-winning TV series)plays
a lawman, Graham Greene plays the Indian Chief, and James
Coburn is the man who put the poker game together.

Alex Flood (Martin) owns 51% of everything in the town of
Jerico, the town he was once hired as sheriff to clean up.
All but one stage line run by widow Molly Lang (Simmons).
Molly has hired an ex-U.S. Marshall (McIntire) because he
has a friend that always rides with him, another ex-U.S.
Marshall, Dolan (Peppard) to help her fight off Flood and
his men. She figured she would be able to get two guns for
the price of one.

PALE RIDER

This is about a small settlement in Northern California, a
group of tin-paners searching for gold. There is another
family named LaHood that uses hi-tech equipment for the
same reasons, gold. They want it all. LaHood sends his
riders every few days to the settlement to try to scare
them into leaving. The man holding the tin-paners together
is Hull (Moriarty). Hull has a friend Sarah (Snodgress)
and her daughter Megan (Penny). During one of LaHood's
raids Megan's dog is killed. Megan prays for a miracle.
Enter, The Pale Rider (Eastwood). And Hell followed with
him.
