"Bubba"--my first baby. A solid black domestic shorthair. He loved Fudgsicles!
"Coty"--from the next litter of Bubba's mama. Black with white chin, throat, feet, and half a moustache. Domestic longhair. Drooled horribly when he purred!
"K.C."--for "kitty cat". A calico. Shortest amount of time I ever owned a cat. It was either her or the baby--we chose the baby! I hear she settled down with a family who could let her go outside!EXTRAS:
"Screech"--an orange huge cat who adopted us when we lived in England. He would not give up his freedom to belong to somebody, but he visited regularly, announcing his presence with a meow too small for his body! He loved bologna! I'll always consider him one of my cats.
"Abby"--a grey tabby who technically belongs to my sister. We've been catsitting her for almost three years now while my sister attends college. This cat's been through a lot, and it's a privilege to give her some stability for a while. She's changed while she's been here (I'm sure neutering her had a hand in this!), and I hope when she returns to her mama, she'll be happy. (NOTE--Three years and three weeks after coming to live with us, Abby has finally gone home to live with her mama. She seems to be adjusting well, and her mama is thrilled to have her cat back! I hope I've been a positive influence in her life. I'm not sure what Misty thinks now. He's been very affectionate since Abby left. I haven't figured out if he's grateful I finally got rid of her, or if he's grateful he wasn't the one carted away in the carrier!)
