Tensing CZ

This noble name should associate such project like Tensing Norway or Tensing Deutschland. But reality is more modest. Tensing CZ is a camp where are tensingers from Czech Tensing groups but also from abroad ( Slovakia, Germany ). It's also open for youth who are only interesting in Tensing but don't visit any Tensing group.

At this camp participants do all activities as at others camps : sport( football, volleyball, baseball ), trips, discos and games. Important part are also devotion or just thinking about important problems of today world.

But this camp has some big difference. It's a hard working camp because during it participants learn to sing and play about 10 new song, create some new dances and a drama according to main theme of the camp. The result of their work is shown to audience at public concert.

In some years the participants of camp meet again in autumn. They repeat what have learnt in summer and have another concerts. These concerts help developing of Tensing in Czech republic because they are in a place where Tensing group already exists or where are people interested in founding such group.

There where these Tensing camps :

Veverska Bityska, 1995

First common action of Tensing groups in Czech republic. There were Tensingers from all existing group but also from then non-existing ( Brno ). Autumn concerts in Krnov and Brno.

Cakov, 1996

International camp - 4 Tensingers from Slovakia ( TS Modra and Kremnice). Euroteam visited this camp. Autumn concert in Olomouc.

Rasovice, 1997

Tensing "kindergarten". Also international ( Manu and Katja from Germany). From this camp participants went to European Tensing Festival in Kiskoros. Autumn concerts in Policka and Praha. In May 1998 in Prague there was an action called Castle for Children. Dagmar Havlova, Czech president's wife, was a patron of this.TS CZ '97 sang 2 song at a official evening in Lucerna ( a famous music hall in Prague ).

1999

Tensing Praha had a camp which was also opened for other Tensing groups

2000

The camp is under preparation. It will be in July. Participants from this camp will travel to EXPO 2000 in Hanover.
