Lytles of Randolph County, NC, and Grant
County, IN
Thomas and Henry Lytle of Lancaster County, Pennsylvania,
could be connected to one or more of the other Lytles. We're still hoping
something turns up. They migrated to Randolph County, North Carolina, and left
families there. Henry's descendants make up most of the Randolph County
Johns(t)ons.
Lytles from this group migrated to Grant County, Indiana, then to Iowa, Nebraska, Kansas, Missouri, and Oklahoma. They now have descendants spread all over the country. This is possibly the largest group of Lytles, and certainly has the most documented descendants, making up about three quarters of the current database. A quarterly newsbulletin is now in its 11th year.

Another Thomas Lytle, who migrated from Rowan County to western North

Ephraim and Nathaniel - Lancaster and
