He was born in Frankfort on February 27, 1920, the son of the late Virgil and
Hazel Greenlee Ackley. Paul is survived by his children; three sons, Paul Ackley,
Jr of Chillicothe, Bill Ackley of Clarksburg, and Donald R. Ackley of South Salem;
two daughters, Opal Pollock Lowery and Judy Jones both of Chillicothe. Also surviving
are 18 grandchildren; several great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren;
seven sisters; his twin sister, Pauline Hutchins of South Vienna, Ohio; Juanita
Robinson of Frankfort, Opal Campbell of South Vienna, Mildred Hohlmayer, Mary
Heeg, Peggy Fulk all of Springfield, and Linda Ropp of Urbana, Ohio; four brothers,
Sam Ackely of Chillicothe, Bob, Jim, and Terry Ackley all of Frankfort. He was
preceded in death by two daughters, Evelyn Sutler and Betty Dunn; two brothers,
Virgil and Charles Ackley; one sister, Erma Ackley and a daughter-in-law, Loree
Ackley. He was a farmer and retired in 1983 from Collins Packing Co. in Greenfield.
Funeral services will be held on Monday, April 28, 2002 at 2 p.m. in the EBRIGHT
FUNERAL HOME, Frankfort with Pastor Wayne Combs and Bob Rose officiating. Burial
will follow in Greenlawn Cemetery. Frankfort. Friends may call at the funeral
home on Sunday from 5-8 p.m.
