Funeral services for Mrs. Alma Bigley, 71, Cumberland, were held Saturday at
the Cumberland church with the Rev. Francis Smith officiating. Burial was in
the Sharon cemetery.
Mrs. Bigley died suddenly Wednesday at the home of her son, Rudy, in Caldwell,
where she was spending the Christmas holidays.
She formerly lived in Noble county, but following the death of her husband,
J. Vance Bigley, two years ago, she moved to Cumberland. She was a member of
the Renrock Methodist church.
In addition to the son at whose home she died, she is survived by a daughter,
Mrs. Donald Merry of Wellston; a sister, Mrs. William Boyd of near Cumberland;
a half-sister, Mrs. Frank Reed of Caldwell; four half-brothers, Carl Ackley of
Akron, Clarence Ackley of Pittsburgh, William Ackley of New York and Earl Ackley
of Massillon, and three grandchildren. She has Death Cert # 78172 Alma
