CALDWELL- Mrs. Barbara Ackley McKee, 80, died Monday afternoon at her home on Cumberland street here.
She was born Aug. 28, 1883, in the Fulda community, a daughter of Sebastian and Caroline Schoeppner Schockling, and was a life long resident of Noble County.
Surviving are five daughters, Mrs. Florence Bridgman, Mrs. Emma Estadt, Miss Thelma Ackley, Mrs. Mary Michel and Mrs. Mildred Ogle, all of Caldwell: a son, James R Ackley of Caldwell; five sisters, Mrs. Elizabeth Heppner, Mrs. Elijah Crum, and Mrs. Mildred Archer, all of Caldwell, Mrs. Stella Noll of 8375 Mill Drive, Zanesville, and Miss Anna Schockling also of Zanesville: 24 grandchildren, and four great-grandchildren. Her first husband, James William Ackley, died May 27, 1922, and her second, Ernest McKee, in 1958.
Requiem High Mass will be celebrated at 9 a. m. Thursday at Stephen's Catholic Church. Burial will be in Olive Cemetery. Rosary will be recited at 7:30 p. m. today at Estadt Funeral Home here.
