Funeral services, conducted by Rev Fred W Endermill, were held at the residence at 4 o'clock yesterday and the body was sent to Waxahachie by Undertaker Loudermilk for burial today. The pallbearers were J L Gammon, T B Williams, Jet Thomas, Ocie Goodwin, Dr. C W Simpson. Mr Ackley is survived by his widow, who was formerly Miss Mary Browning of Waxahacie, and two small sons. He was buried in Mar 1914 in Waxahachie City Cemetery, Waxahachie, Ellis, Texas.⁹⁵ He appeared in the census 1870 & 1880 in Ohio. He lived at in Canyon City, Comal, Texas.¹⁹⁸

WAXAHACHIE, Texas- Funeral services for Mrs E H Ackley, long time Waxahachie civic, church and club leader, will be held at 2 pm Wednesday at the Rudolph Funeral Chapel here. Burial will be in the Waxahachie City Cemetery.
Mrs Ackley died in a Waxahachie hospital Monday from injuries received in a traffic accident 41/2 miles east of Waxahachie last Wednesday.
Officiating at her services will be the Rev Herbert Polinard, the Rev Gus Ramage and the Rev Otha Clary.
Mrs Ackley, descendent of this city's pioneer Davis family, was a former member of the Waxahahcie Board of Education. She was president of the Waxahachie Parent-Teachers Association for several terms and organized the Negro PTA here.
She was active in the First Christian Church and was a charter member of the Waxahachie Garden Club.
Survivors are two sons, John L Ackley of Waxahachie and E Hastings Ackley of Dallas, and four grandchildren. She was buried in Waxahachie City Cemetery, Waxahachie, Ellis, Texas.^95,203 Eliakim Hastings ACKLEY and Mary BROWNING had the following children:
