Welcome to our news page! We don't always live very exciting lives, but there's usually something going on. I'll try to remember to put it all here...

After more than three years and four months as a Heartland Community Leader and 16 months as Heartland Liaison, I decided to leave the CL program in April. I was feeling a bit burnt out and I decided that it was time to let someone else take over the reins (and it was time for me to occupy my time with new endeavors). I really enjoyed my time as a CL, but I am not sorry to leave the program. I look forward to lots of new fun online!

No, I didn't have twins! LOL! In February, we adopted two dogs, half-Dalmatian, half-German Shephard (they're sisters) who were on their way to the animal shelter. They were only five weeks old at the time and it was so cold out -- I didn't have the heart to let them go to the shelter to die. We couldn't take all five that were left (from a litter of 11), but we did take two. Their names are Blackie and Mocha and they are a bit hyper (that's the Dalmatian in them, added to the fact that they're puppies), but they're sweet and we really love them. I have a few pictures of them and one of these days I'll even post them!

On December 27th, we moved to our new home in a town outside of Beer Sheva (yes, I know, the part of my page that says "Welcome to Beer Sheva" is no longer accurate). We've been busy fixing up the house (we probably will be for the rest of our lives!), which is one of the reasons why it's taken me so long to update these pages. We love our new house and I've taken some pictures of it to show it off. You can see them starting here.

I'm really enjoying my ceramics class. I've already completed a number of projects and I've decided to make a separate page to display them. You can view them all here.
