Hi. This is Einey again. I'm glad you made it to Tiny's own page. She's
the little "rascal" in the back of the photograph. She has quite a story
to tell, so I'll leave the rest of this page up to her....
Hi. My name is Tiny because I only weighed 2 and 1/2 lb. when Ron found
me at the dog pound where I had been left by a kind policeman who had found
me wandering along the road where my owner had left me. My fur was full
of flies and I was so hungry. No one came to claim me, and I had been at
the pound for a week before Ron found me. He gave me a hug and took me
home with him to join Einey, and I have been living with them since late
summer 1998. We now live in the Rio Grande Valley in southern Texas. I
love going to the beach on Padre Island. I don't like the water though.
Einey and I like to run up and down the dunes.
Oh my gosh.
It's bath time!!!

THINGS
WE CAN LEARN FROM A DOG...
Never pass up
the opportunity to go for a joyride.
Allow the
experience of fresh air and the wind in your face to be pure......ecstasy.
When loved
ones come home, always run to greet them.
When it's
in your best interest, practice obedience.
Let others
know when they've invaded your territory.
Take naps
and stretch before rising.
Run, romp,
and play daily.
Eat with
gusto and enthusiasm. My personal favorite.
Be loyal.
Never pretend
to be something you're not.
If what
you want lies buried, dig until you find it.
When someone
is having a bad day, be silent, sit close by and nuzzle them gently.
Thrive on
attention and let people touch you.
Avoid biting
when a simple growl will do.
On hot days,
drink lots of water and lay under a shady tree.
When you're
happy, dance around and wag your entire body.
No matter
how often you're scolded, don't buy into the guilt thing and pout... run
right back and make friends.
Delight
in the simple joy of a long walk.

The Last Battle
If it should
be that I grow frail and weak And pain should keep me from my sleep, Then
will you do what must be done, For this -- the last battle -- can't be
won. You will be sad I understand, But don't let grief then stay your hand,
For on this day, more than the rest, Your love and friendship must stand
the test. We have had so many happy years, You wouldn't want me to suffer
so. When the time comes, please, let me go. Take me to where to my needs
they'll tend, Only, stay with me till the end And hold me firm and speak
to me Until my eyes no longer see. I know in time you will agree It is
a kindness you do to me. Although my tail its last has waved, From pain
and suffering I have been saved. Don't grieve that it must be you who has
to decide this thing to do; We've been so close -- we two -- these years.
Don't let your heart hold any tears. -- Unknown
