This was located on the waters of the north fork of the Holstein River on the south side of Chestnut Ridge adjoining the land where he lived and beginning at a line of the 57 acre survey. He signed a will on 26 Jul 1827 in Washington Co, VA. He appointed Joseph MILLER as executor. He signed his will with an X. He died in Aug 1827 in Washington Co, VA. The will was proved on 21 Aug 1827. The sale of the remainder of his estate was held on 5 Oct 1827 and returned to court and recorded on 19 Feb 1828.
