Sara Jeanette Irwin (IH) was born Sara Jane Irwin 6/27/1857 in Cloveneden, Loughgall, Co. Armagh, Northern Ireland. She immigrated to America in 1881. She and Joseph Hamill (also spelled Hammel) were married 5/22/1884 at 329 S. 17th St. in Philadelphia, PA. Joseph was born 3/25/1855 in Moy, Co. Tyrone, N. Ireland. After they were married they lived in Gloucester City, NJ where they owned and operated a department store. By 1896 Sarah and her family had moved to Philadelphia. Also by this time Joseph was working as an expresswayman. Sometime after 1911 they moved to Ardmore, PA. Sara died 6/12/1918 as a result of cancer. Her funeral was from their home in Ardmore, PA and St. Nathaniel's PE Church in Philadelphia. She was buried at Cedar Grove Cemetery in Gloucester. Joseph's last reported occupation was as a driver, courier and deliverer in Philadelphia. He died 3/25/1922 in Ardmore and was buried next to his wife.

Joseph Ernest Hamill (IH5) was born 10/27/1890 in Gloucester City, NJ. He was involved with St. Nathaniel's PE Church, and the Stoneman's Fellowship and Washington Camp, No. 216, POSA. He died 10/17/1916 in Philadelphia, PA of tuberculosus contracted through contact with a friend who had it. His funeral was from the home of his parents and at St. Nathaniel's PE Church in Philadelphia. He was buried at Cedar Grove Cemetery in Gloucester City.
Edith Sarah Hamill (IH6) was born 10/15/1892 Gloucester, NJ. She and Thomas Wayne Crawford were married 6/16/1916 at her parent's home at 447 E. Clearfield St. in Philadelphia, PA. Edith last resided in Philadelphia and died, during childbirth, 2/4/1919. Her funeral was from 2046 E. Pacific St. and St. Nathaniel's PE Church in Philadelphia. She was buried in East Cedar Hill Cemetery in Philadelphia.
