My Wee Peggy. The newest addition to my wheel family.
I also have a Babe and a Bayless.

I spun the varicolored NZ as one long
yarn, washed and blocked it.
Then I tried the Merino. What a dream Merino is to spin.
I used both color swatches starting with the blue and p
urple and going to the red and yellow.
I haven't decided
what to do with the yarn yet.
This is the NZ roving.

Merino

The silk coldpad spun up very nicely.
But you have to be careful the fibers tend
to get very thin and break. Several times
it was necessary to tie the ends to keep the yarn going.
The ends also like to hide in the spun yarn
and can be hard to find when they break.

SILK

This silk with the KoolAid spun up
differently than the coldpad silk did.
It is much softer and does not have the
luster of the other silk. Each silk was rinsed after dyeing.

Flavors spun from left to right are:
Switching Secret,Lemonade,Pink Lemonade,Watermelon Cherry.

I think I will use large knitting needles
and make a silk shawl.

I wonder if he comes with the needles?
