My meowme found me starving and injured in a storm sewer in the winter of 1993. She couldn't get me out but some students from the University got the cover off the drain and enticed me through a small pipe with some hamburger. I was just fur and bones and very hungry. The students took me to the animal shelter and she called every day to see if I was still there. When nobody answered the ad about me she claimed me. I had to have tests and shots and the stub of my tail had to be amputated. There was only a small stump left. I only weighed a few pounds. The vet thought that my age was somewhere between five and seven. That was many years ago. As cats go I am getting pretty old. I don't do much any more but sleep and eat. I have a warm soft place to rest and that is all I really need.
