2. DON2 CULLURAFI (COLOROFE1) was born Abt. 1590. He married ELIZABETTA.

Notes for DON CULLURAFI:
We find the names of Placio's parents on his census record in Librizzi in 1681. The name is entered as "Don". I am guessing his birth date based on the ages given for his two sons. We see that both Placido and Rosario, in the census of Librizzi in 1681 have Don and Elizabetta Culluraffi as their parents - no ages are given for them, nor a first name for "Don" or a surname for Elizabetta. This Don, could even be, in fact, "Giac". Don is a title of nobility that carries on in this family for many generations. Donna is also a title given to some of our early female ancestors.

5. ii.   ROSARIO CULLURAFI, b. 1624, Librizzi, Sicily.


3. GIAC2 COLOROFE (COLOROFE1 CULLURAFI) was born Abt. 1620.

Notes for GIAC COLOROFE:
We find reference to Giac in the Militello census of 1681. It is an interesting name since it is the Sicilian version of the French, Jacque. The north-east section of Sicily where the Patti and Militello areas are situated, has a very strong Norman (French speaking) influence. He is mentioned as the father of both Francesco Colorofe and Maccleo Colorofe. He may be the Giac living in the household of Francesco. However, no ages are given, nor are the relationships specified, as they are in the early census of Librizzi. Remember, the Colorofe/Cullurafi mentioned as his parent and that of Don Cullurafi, are there only so that we can show all of the early ancestors that we have found in Sicilia.
