The "OTHER" SIDE OF LIFE.......

This page is dedicated to those of you who, like me, suffer from some form of abuse, whether it be physical, mental or verbal.....

The following song, as you will see, deals with Abuse......there are MANY forms: Physical, Mental and Verbal - ALL DEVASTATING.....VERBAL and MENTAL abuse are sometimes MORE painful than the pain suffered from bruises...broken bones.....those things will eventually heal......HARSH WORDS linger in your heart forever and eat away at you until at some point in time....you begin to believe in them and lose your OWN self esteem.....take it from one who lived with it for several years and survived to start again....

She loved him like he was...the last man on earth...

Gave him everything she ever had.......He'd break her spirit down....

Then come lovin' up on her....Give a little then take it back....

She'd tell him about her dreams.....He'd just shoot 'em down....

Lord he loved to make her cry....You're crazy for believin' you'll ever leave the ground....He said "ONLY angels know how to fly"...

*And with a broken wing, She still sings...

She keeps an eye on the sky....

And with a broken wing...she carries her dreams!!!

Man! You oughta see her fly*!!!!

One Sunday morning...she didn't go to Church....

He wondered why she didn't leave.....

He went up to the bedroom...found a note by the window....with the curtains blowing in the breeze....

*And with a broken wing...she STILL sings..

She keeps an eye on the sky...

And with a broken wing.....she carries her dreams!!!!

*MAN!! YOU OUGHTA SEE HER FLY!!!!*

In everyone's life there is that "Special" someone.....someone you confide in.....someone you trust....someone you lean on when you feel alone.......someone who is ALWAYS there when you need them most.......Thank-you Carol, for being MY "SPECIAL" someone.....my "Special" friend and confidant....thank-you for your faith!!! *S*
