The Cooke Family
NFR indicates no further record.
* indicates my ancestor.
So much time has been spent researching the Cherokee lines, that sometimes their white ancestors have been neglected. This is the case with the Cooke family. I know very little about them, and welcome any leads. Below is stated ALL that I know about this family.
*1. Hannah Cooke is believed to have been born in England between 1676 and 1680. She died and is buried in Chester County, PA., She m. Henry Oborn in 1696 in Chester County, Pa., leading me to believe that her birth date falls in the earlier period of the above dates. She died in 1766 and is buried in Chester County.
