*1. Ludovic Grant, was born ca. 1706, and was Scotish. He may have been the same Ludovic Grant who was born 13 Jan 1707 in Castleton, Scotland, and m. 1. Marion Dalrymple of Scotland and m. 2. Lady Margaret Ogilvie. This information however, is not proven. If you would care to helpin this research of Ludovic, contact me. Ludovic was a licensed trader to the Cherokee and the Choctaw. He m. or consorted with Elizabeth Coody who was a full blood Cherokee. Coody was probably not Elizabeth's surname, so she probably would have been married prior to her relationship with Ludovic. They had one child. It is possible that Ludovic had other children.

*2a. Mary Grant b. ca. 1726 in the Cherokee Nation, Tenn., and m. William Emory. They information on their children is located under the Emory name.
