JIM'S HOBBIES

Jim is my wonderful husband and worlds greastest dad...We have been married for 14 great years...When he is not helping around the house or playing with the kids...He plays with his big "toys" cars...

Hello, I am Jim and I am a personnel manager at a trucking firm here in South Jersey...I have loved cars since I was about 10 years old...I am a huge drag racing fan and have run my share of races...My first car was a 1970 Dodge Dart Swinger 340 auto, street car...My second was a 1969 Dodge Dart GT, 383, 4 speed. It was an original 383 big block. I raced this one as trophy class and did pretty good......My third car that I still own is a 1968 Dodge Dart GTS, 340, auto. It was originally a street car but converted to drag in 1977. I ran this car as a heavy with a 12.42 ET @ 109mph. Then Bracket at 11.81ET @ 112mph...I try to catch a race now and then with this car, when i'm not at the track helping my kids with their Jr. Dragster (more on that later)...My 4th car was a 1971 Dodge Demon, 340, auto. This is a street car and looks great a "true demon". My brother still owns this car.....My 5th car was a 1974 Dodge Dart sport, 383, auto. This was a show car, a real beauty, I took 1st place two years in a row at the Glassboro Garden State Mopar Show. Well that is some of the cars that I have owned and still own that I have put alot of work into...I still own, as a matter of fact, a 1978 Ford Ranchero GT. I am the original owner and it has 150,000 miles on it...Great condition...Sold this to my brother in the summer of '97 (did you know my wife can do cartwheels...guess she was happy I got rid of that car, but am looking for a Barracuda (67-69) or Dodge Demon (70-72)......I race at Atco raceway and many other area tracks ...well thats it for now, enjoy my fav. links
