Guest Poet Award
This section is devoted to those who are cowboys and cowgirls at heart; to every Western wannabe who'd like the opportunity to display their own original "cowboy poetry" free of charge and at their own risk. There's a saying that "Wherever there's an open mind, there's a new frontier." So if you've always wanted to explore the frontier of being a cowboy poet and have been afraid to try, this may be your chance.
READ our Submission Guidelines.
NOTE:
Due to the high quality and number of works submitted, choosing a winner for our quarterly "Honorary Cowpoke" and Guest Poet Award has turned out to be a much bigger job than we anticipated. Naturally, we are forced to eliminate all but one individual each term, but wish to point out that we feel so far we have had no losers. Please don't be discouraged if your name does not appear here at this time. With your permission, we'd love to have the option of using your submissions on this site at a later date. If this arrangement is unacceptable to any of you out there, please email CPF with request to exclude your authored works from delayed publication.
