My Current Foster
Shadow
(isn't she adorable?!)
Shadow was reported to me to have been approximately 2 years old, spayed, and deaf. Approximately 2"-3" of her tail had to be amputated as she split it and it got infected. From what I can tell, this dog is still just a puppy-if she's over a year old, it isn't by much. She's a very delicate dal; petite, with nice markings...but her muscles -- well, look out! She's built like a brick house. Her chest, front legs and rear legs make her look like a spotted whippet. She's got a spitfire and vinegar personality...she really sticks up for herself!!!
She is athletic and would probably make a good agility dog. She loves jumping and with her undying devotion to her master, this would make for a good combination.
Snickers
One of the funnest placements I was involved with was Snickers the coonhound. Snicky was being fostered by Maribeth, and she contacted me to help with placement. We were able to place Snicky with a fraternity house at Auburn University...he belongs to the housemaster.
