About Mandi

This section holds information about both Mandi's life and her death. It may seem weird to have information about how she died.  It should actually be looked at as a warning, of sorts, or a statement on how really, really important it is to wear helmets on motorcycles.  Also, we can't run away from the truth - that she really is gone.  To not tell the whole story about Amanda would be an injustice to her soul.

Rereading the article may invoke more emotion - it's ok - we need to cry...to get angry...to feel lonely...or just ask "Why?"  After time has passed and we have grown and accepted the reality, we may even bring our own children, grandchildren, students, or other youngsters to this site to learn all about our friend.

There are articles from the local paper telling the story of how we lost our precious friend, and also information about her life...her favorite places, things to do, school activities and yearbook information.

It's still under construction.  For now, the links are to articles from the local paper.  Eventually, there will be Mandi's biographical information, her favorite things, and more.

Please be patient, as gathering information in such a short time after losing her is difficult.  In time, her family may contribute, as well as you too.  If you feel there is something that should be added or included, please email the author.
