Daniel John Erspamer was born in May of 1982 in Memphis, Tenn., to John and Karen Erspamer. He attended Bartlett High School in Bartlett, Tenn., and Tulane University in New Orleans, La. He graduated from Tulane in 2004 with a B.A., cum laude in Communication and with honors in Political Economy. His senior honors thesis for Political Economy was entitled An Empirical Analysis of Charter School Success in American Public Education.

In November 2004, Daniel accepted a position with the Americans for Prosperity Foundation in development (aka. Fundraising). He works primarily with high dollar donors and direct mail.

Daniel and his wife Emily live in Arlington, Virginia, spending their time enjoying being newly married. They are the proud owners of four tropical fish (Chuck, Mack, Emilie, and Squiggy).

The former Emily Ann Oliver is a 2001 graduate of the University of Memphis with honors in Finance and a 2004 graduate of the Tulane University School of Law. She served as the editor-in-chief of The Sports Lawyers Journal, a nationally-recognized scholarly publication of articles in Sports Law sponsored by the Sports Lawyers Association and advised by Professor Gary Roberts of Tulane University. She holds a certificate in Sports Law and also specializes in Labor, Antitrust, Business and Constitutional Law as well as Alternative Dispute Resolution. She is a member of the Tennessee Bar and is employed as a private consultant with the Wage and Hour Division of the United States Department of Labor.

Daniel and Emily are ardently conservative Republicans who enjoy discussing and working in politics and policy. They are strong supporters of President George W. Bush.

Daniel is also an avid reader (when possible), both of fiction and nonfiction works, and appreciates spending quality time with friends and family. He and Emily enjoy country music and a wide variety of movies (though they don't get to see them often).

They love living in the Washington, D.C., area, but still enjoy many ties to Tennessee, both in family, friends and roots. They hope to one day return to the state to raise a large and boistrous family!

This space will be updated as changes occur in Daniel and Emily's life. Please enjoy your tour of the rest of the site, and don't forget to sign the guestbook.
