These are more of the Coat of Arms backgrounds I have made for our site. You may use them as you wish, though I do request that they be used only where the Coat of Arms are applicable, though I must admit I took some liberties with some of them. If you would like more information on the Coats of Arms, please feel free to contact me at
The Arms of Rolf Ganger, the first Duke of Normandy, though I'm not sure how Rolf was granted arms since he lived in the late 9th and early 10th centuries, and arms were not used until the 11th.
I found these arms on a Web site, and they are probably not correct for any of the Fitzwalters on this page. If anyone knows the correct arms for any of them I will change it.
The Arms of John de Grey, from the Galloway Roll, ca. 1300. According to some sources, the bend (diagonal line) should be indented (zig-zag edges). I may change it one day to the arms of Henry de Grey, which does not have the bend at all.
These are the Arms of the Howard Dukes of Norfolk. They are found in the crest of the present Duke of Norfolk, as well in the first quarter of the shield with an added escutcheon.
The Arms of William Longespee, Earl of Salisbury from the Camden Roll 1280. It is used on the page with William Longespee, though I have my doubts about him being the correct William Longespee.
I ran across these arms many times listed as those of the Duke of Austria. I later discovered that they were used by the Babenberg Margraves. This was listed in the Armorial du Herault Vermandois, ca. 1285-1300.
The Arms of William Marshal, Earl of Pembroke. These arms were granted after he became earl of Pembroke, he had different arms prior to these as Marshal of the Royal Household.
