My Friends

I feel that good friends can be as close to you as any family member, sometimes closer. I love you guys.

 Darryl Barnes  

This handsome guy is a friend I've known since grade school in Midland, Texas. Darryl is owner and president of JSource based out of San Francisco. His company now specializes in Java Smart Card technology.

Sheila Closs

Sheila and I were best friends at Lee High School in Midland, Texas, sharing many of the same honors classes. She is now the manager and department head for Human Resources at the Polynesian resort at Disney World in Florida.

Buddy Fazzio

Buddy and I have been friends since high school. He is on the weird side (but it's a good kind of weird). There's never a dull moment around Buddy.

Charles Gura

Chuck came into my life while we were both attending Texas A&M University. Despite not seeing much of each other since 1986, we have kept in touch over the years and hope to continue being the best of friends no matter where life takes us. He has two different web pages: one | two.

Brad James

I've known Brad probably since first grade at Rusk Elementary. He's always been a great friend and the nicest guy anyone could ever hope to meet. I still remember Valentine's Day in high school when he had the National Honor Society people sing "You've Got a Friend" to me. Hugs, Brad.

Kurt McCall

Kurt and I met through Sandra Garza (far right) at Texas A&M University. He graduated with his Bachelor's and Master's degree from Texas A&M and now works for NASA.

Joseph Shuffield

Joseph and I were best friends throughout elementary, junior high, and high school in Midland, Texas. We both started Strings classes in fourth grade at Rusk Elementary and shared our love of orchestra for nine years. He went to Baylor University in Waco, TX for his undergraduate degree, earned his Master's, and has just started doctoral studies at the University of Texas. He is pictured here on the left with his friend, Seth.
