There are a lot of pictures here, but I have reduced them all to thumbnails so that the pages will load a LOT faster for you. When you pass your mouse over each thumbnail, you should see a description of the photo on your status bar at the bottom of the screen. Just click your mouse on the thumbnail to see the larger version of any picture.

While this was a time of extreme hardship for most of us in this state, it was also a time when Nature showed us her most beautiful adornments. (The pictures of Frank are the exception to this.)
My cousin Maryann and her husband Bob surprised us with a visit over Memorial Day weekend. It was great to be able to show them a little bit of our world!
Gab and I were glad to be able to go down to Massachusetts to help celebrate Josh's graduation from High School in June. It was also a great chance to visit with all of our Massachusetts family.
We flew out to Chicago on July 2nd (after a false-start on the 1st) and had a wonderful time visiting with relatives, seeing the sites, enjoying the food and, in general, having the time of our lives!
My brother Bill and his wife Marge hosted a wonderful family reunion at their home in Barrington the weekend of the fourth. Wally and Nadine were in from Pittsburgh and Elizabeth was in from D.C.
We took the "Round-Tripper" from Arlington Heights to the "Friendly Confines of Wrigley Field" and arrived in plenty of time to catch batting practice and a TERRIFIC game!
Hosted by Pat & Joe, this was the first time that the four of us were together by ourselves in longer than any of us could remember. We talked, ate chinese food, looked at old pictures and laughed a lot!
My sister Pat's good friend Lisa was kind enough to invite us out to her beautiful horse farm. We spent the entire day there and, besides giving all the kids a chance to do some horseback riding, she also gave us all a haircut! Now THATS hospitality!!!!
My brother-in-law Klaus is a highly skilled carpenter. Now that his career as a contractor is beginning to wind down, he's doing some finish carpentry for himself and Judi. I was amazed at the beautiful work he does! The pictures here hardly do justice to his gorgeous work. These tables and the buffet are constructed of solid oak with marble inlaid tops.
Gab and I spent an entire day in and around the Loop and at Navy Pier
