OUR MISSION STATEMENT:
Helping Fathers and their children, through Information, Direction, and Actions.
Welcome fathers of Mesa County!
The time has now come to get together. In the coming months I plan on having a place for us to gather and help each other.
We will be asking for people to join and become members. What we will not do is ask for your money. I am so sick and tired of all these supposed "Fathers rights groups" telling how they will help you, "if you join us, and give us a fee". I am not in this to make money. I donate all my time and efforts toward helping in any small way I can.
People have told me you can make good money off non-profits. Well I think that is the problem that has contributed in helping our purpose to fail for so long! LINE MY POCKET. With that attitude you can be baught and your actions be controled. I have heard from many of these groups and how they have been doing this for 20+ years. That makes me sick. If these people really wanted to make a difference they would not be asking for your money they would be telling you how you can make a difference. Then with all of us working together something would be accomplished.
This page will be undergoing constant construction for the next few months.
I am looking for a Lawyer to donate an hour or so a week, to help with legal issues. A psychologist or psychiatrist to donate a little time each week. I am also looking for people who would like to become officers of this org., and of course just members. Fathers that are going through divorce. You dont need to be going through hard times, although divorce is hard, we are here for support.
