A Letter To My Grandchild
I don't know if you know how much you
are loved. In four short years you touched so many people.
When you were only a few days old, I
came from Florida to see you. It was a cold January day, but your
little personality warmed me up right away.
Remember all the good times we
had, especially our secrets. Yes,we always got caught sitting on
the benches in the theme parks having a Nana and Granddaughter
moment. Mommy, Daddy and Kirsten would go off to those
bumpy rides, you didn't like, while you and I would eat our way
through the park. I never will forget how excited you were
to
see Shamu. That is until he splashed you and got you soaked to
the skin. That ended your friendship. You didn't have
anything to do with that fish.
How about you fishing in the canal
with your own line. You didn't catch anything, but you did
get excited when someone else did. Of course the one time that
stands out in my mind is when you traveled by plane with your
sister, Kirsten and Cousin Cassie. You came and spent a few
weeks during the summer with Pop-Pop and Nana We enjoyed
every minute. That was the time that Kirsten and Cassie
taught you to swim. You were so proud. How about the
plays you put on after
dinner each night. Of course you had the smallest part, but
that didn't bother you because you were with the big girls.
Jessica you will always have a
special place in my heart. But, I am sure you know how much
we love you.
Thanks for all your phone calls
about the video's you watched, what Coty and Bubba were doing and
your happy times in nursery school.
My little angel, you will never be
alone. You have your Great Grandparents, Wilson, Milone and
Floriani, your Grandfather Formica and yes your Aunt Linda to look
after you, until we met again.
Love Always,
Nana.
