"Flowers Leave Their Fragrance On The Hand That Bestows Them"
This old Chinese proverb, if practiced each day, Would change the whole world in a wonderful way- Its truth is so simple, it's so easy to do And it works every time and successfully too...For you can't do a kindness without a reward, Not in silver nor gold but in joy from the Lord- You can't light a candle to show others the way Without feeling the warmth of that bright little ray...And you can't pluck a rose, all fragrant with dew, Without part of it's fragrance remaining with you. (Author Helen Steiner Rice) "Lizzi"...we know you are not physically here...but we will always carry you in our hearts...

"Tigger" was a healthy and happy dog who had normal
vision and he enjoyed playing fetch, did beginning
Agility, was happy out in public and adored people!!!
"Tigger" ate a bone of unknown origin and the result was complicated peritonitis to which we lost him from.
This is a watercolor done by our friend, Jane Birtwistle,
of Dakotah Smooth Collies in Great Britain.
Jane did
this painting for a holiday greeting card several years
ago; sales of cards benefited Collie Rescue Rough and
Smooth of Great Britain.
The tri Smooth is "CHevy" and
the blue merle Smooth is our "Lizzi" and a notation inside
card even says so!
We were surprized and
delighted...and Jane IS very very talented!
