"Jemez Dauntless"
A completely resculpted Breyer classic by Lynn Fraley, now a cantering Thoroughbred stallion with braided mane and tail. (1994?) Painted a coppery dapple chestnut, Dauntless is certainly an eyecatcher! NAN Top Ten Sporthorse in 1998. I'm very excited to have this treasure in my collection; thank you to Linda Subias for parting with him!

"Night Vision"
Chris Jolly very kindly created a portrait of my first horse, "Night Vision" (a.k.a. Jake!) on the Breyer Lonesome Glory mold. When I first saw LG, I saw elements of Jake in his face and his position. Chris uncomplainingly  took a pile of photographs from me and proceeded to create a model so true to the real horse that it made me cry when I first saw it. Thank you so much, Chris, for giving me something to hold onto and remember Jake by. You are a wonderful friend.

This guy is extra special. . . he was a birthday gift to me in 1999
from my friends and neighbors, Kate and Melody Jowell.
This is a SM sized portrait of my first horse, a Thoroughbred hunter/jumper named Jake.
He is Melody's first attempt at customizing, and I think she did a super job!
Thank you, Kate and Melody!
