Welcome visitors.... I guess since you have chosen
to stop by this page you must want to know a little bit about the ever
complex 'Dite, (that I am for sure). I am born of Scottish and Irish parents.
I have two big brothers and I am the baby of the family. That should tell
you a whole lot right there. *grin* My real name is Donna (meaning Lady).
Now that is a hoot for sure. I am short in stature and have hair the color
of ravens wings. The sun has chosen to leave freckles upon my cheeks, maybe
to show everyone the little imp that I am. I grew up in a totally happy
loving family.
Currently my life is going through alot of changes. Some days are full of laughter, others full of stress. But, my greatest joys are my three beautiful daughters, Amanda, Sarah and Emily. They are very well rounded girls. One minute I will be watching them perform ballet
and the next on the baseball field, watching them hit home runs. So between running car pools and chasing off the boy's, I seem to have a very busy life. LOL! I also have two crazy
dogs, that make me pull out my hair somtimes and laugh at others.
I am a total person of passions and strong beliefs.
At any given moment, I might be weaving a basket, climbing a tree, reading
a novel with tears in my eyes, flying a kite, planting a flower or playing
backgammon online. I am a total game nut! You name the game I play it.
From cards to board games to murder mysteries to road rallies. Oh such
fun! I play golf and tennis. Sometimes volleyball if they promise not to
hit to hard that I break a nail.(Yikes) Meeting people from all walks of
life fascinats me and I want to learn and know more about them all the
time. Songs and poetry flow from inside of me and my children close their
ears, because I will sing anything, anytime. Castles call my name and so
do art galleries. I love antiques and find the hunt for them almost as
fun as the purchase. The ocean moves my soul and sea shells I know, come
up to the shore line just for me to find. I look nightly at the heavens
above and thank God for all the many blessings I have received.
You might ask why the Angels? I have always had
a fascination for angels and totally believe they walk with earth with
us every moment of every given day.  I know through my lifetime they have
helped to guide me and guard me. (smiling) I know some may doubt, but I
do not. I have felt their presence many a time and my soul has been calmed.
While putting up an extra Christmas tree, I started looking into ornaments that I have saved all my life. To my amazement I have a whole tree of just angels. Guess it was the little yellow angel, given to me at birth that started me on the right path so long ago.
