The secret things belong to the Lord our God, but the things revealed belong to us and to our children forever, that we may follow all the words of this law.

Is there an "answer desk in Heaven? A place where we can get all our questions answered for we we have no answer on earth. Recently we lost a very young brother-in-law to an unexpected illness. Why did he die so young? Another question: How can the Father, the Son and the Holy Spirit be one God? How can the true body and blood of Jesus be present in the bread and wine at communion? The answers to all these questions are beyond our grasp.

We do know that "God so loved the world that He gave His one and only son, that whoever believes in Him shall not perish but have eternal live"(John 3:16), and that you shall "love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your mind" as you "love your neighbor as yourself"(Matthew 22:37,39)

We will continue to ask how and why. But we will always know that God has loved us with an everlasting love and given us Jesus. We are to live in His love as He has shown us the way to.

I pray, dear Lord, that I will be content with what you have revealed to me and not worry our the hidden things that I can't understand. Those things I will leave up to you God. Strengthen my faith in you to trust that you will take care of these things. Amen
