Trestleboard Article March/April 2001

Being the Worshipful Master of Harmony Lodge is the most enjoyable thing I have done sice my daughter was born. I enjoy researching the information for masonic education as much as I do giving it, and wearing the hat in the east is an honor.

Our last meeting consisted of a discussion on the E.E. Morris Scholarship Fund. The Grand Master was unable to attend but the meeting went on as planned. We submitted our proposal to change the committee members, which was stated in the Trestle Board, and anxiously awaiting its approval from the Grand master. I made a proposal to purchase robes for our degree work and shall submit prices to the lodge at our next communication.

We voted on and approved both the affiliation of Brother Ronald Lee Hubright and the reinstatement of Brother Joseph Purcell. Our (S.D.) Paul Carpenter has done an excellent job repainting our staffs and is ready for the next project. I learned much at the Master's Workshop and am anxious to inform the Brethern of the proposals to be voted on at the next Grand Lodge.
