Diane Kuras, dkpc@nut-n-but.net, of Port Charlotte, FL sent me an email in 1998 saying that she thought this might be the Rachel Morgan who married a John McClain and were parents of her ancestor James McClain, born about 1785. I have no idea. Just repeating rumors here.
