Almyra, or ``Myra'' as she was also known (Myra is on her tombstone), lived with her husband on a farm a mile north of Webster until January 8, 1919 when they moved to their home in the town of Webster. Her obituary contained the following passage: Mrs. Carmichael was a member of the Methodist church for many years. She was a good neighbor, a gracious friend, and one who was ever ready to extend a kindness to someone in need. She was a great lover of home and found great delight in the care of her garden and flowers.
