There's a little uncertainty on the family of Thomas/Michael Shannon. The initial outline I got from Mary Flood names him Thomas J. Michael with wife Frances and sons William and Leroy, apparently from a 1920 census entry, but I couldn't find this family in the 1920 census. I also can't find his parents (William and Catherine) in the 1900 census, which would also be a help. I found a widowed Frances in 1930 with sons William and Leroy, and found an obituary for a matching Leroy Shannon, which names his mother Frances Burton and his father Michael Shannon, a brother William and a deceased brother John. I think John must have died as a child since John wasn't in Mary Flood's records and isn't in the 1930 census.
