In 1925, Lillie and Anthony McCoy owned 200 acres in Section 26 of Washington Township.

Anthony was the son of James and Clara Fox McCoy. He and Lillian farmed near Villa Nova until retiring in De Witt about 1945 or 1946. At his death he had four grandchildren and six great grandchildren.
