At one point various Pierson descendents' records had either this Lanthy Pierson or her half-sister Lanthy Pierson (b. 1814) married to Henry Fewell. The 1850 census shows it is this Lanthy who married Henry Fewell since Lanthy (spelled Lantia J. Fewil in the census) is only age 19, which fits pretty well with this Lanthy.

After Lanthy Jane's death, Henry remarried to Elizabeth Ellen Estinghousen. They can be found in the census in 1860 English Township, Keokuk, IA, 1870 and 1880 Russian River, Sonoma, CA (named spelled Henry Fuel in 1870, Henry Fewel in 1880). Henry and Elizabeth had several children. Their names and ages in 1880 were: Ella J. 20y, Synthia A. 17y, Lewis F[ranklin] 16y, Eliza E. 14y, Milie C[lementine] 12y, Louisa 10y, Mary 10y, and Katie 8y.

Elizabeth Ellen Estinghousen Fewel died on 7 Mar 1905 in Sonoma, CA.
