The Hawken data states, ``William Rodman sold the Rodman farm and the family of 5 left Sigourney, Iowa in 1864 and joined a wagon train leaving Independence, Missouri.'' The wagon train was going to Oregon. William died in Oregon on 25 Jan 1905 at age 74y, 6m, 18d, and is buried at Wamic, Wasco Co., Oregon.
