This page is now devoted to others who have suffered adverse or unexpected effects from EMDR. Since EMDR has been used willy-nilly on conditions other than PTSD, unscrupulous therapists seeking to keep a roof over their heads have been injuring their patients. Shapiro is frequently advised of the event(s) and offers to help; in my humble opinion and experience she does so in order to undermine any legal recourse and keep such information from making the press.
