Welcome To 1985 Quilts on The Rocks Gallery *~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~ The following pictures are very special as they are quilts that were on display at the very first Quilts On The Rocks. This was held on October 5th and 6th, 1985. The show has been held every three years since. *~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~  Here we have a beautifully pieced and appliqued 'Sunflower Medallion Quilt' hand quilted by Muriel Nicholls. *~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~  This 'Briar Rose quilt' was made by Stella Campbell. The top was all done in Cross Stitch... *~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~  Here we have a pieced and appliqued 'Irish Chain and Whig Rose quilt' that was hand quilted by Evelyn Yade. *~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~  Here we have a beautifully done 'Broken Star' quilt that was hand pieced and hand quilted by Stella Campbell. *~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~  This beautiful done 'Yoyo Quilt' has over 10,000 yoyos in it, and took the maker over 10 years to finish. This was submitted by K. Patterson. *~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~  This pieced 'Kaleidoscope Quilt' was hand quilted by Marg Conibear. *~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~  These 'Love birds' were appliqued and hand quilted by Evelyn Yade. *~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~  Here we have an 'Tree of Life quilt' appliqued and hand quilted by Ruby Harris. *~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~  This hand pieced 'Gods Eye' quilt was made by Joyce Brooks. *~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~  Here we have a pieced 'Night and Noon quilt' hand quilted by Muriel Nicholls. *~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~  Here we have the'Cameron Family quilt' made by Janet Weibe, and was done in the quilt as you go method,and it is reversible. *~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~  This beautiful 'Ukrainian Cross Stitch quilt' is a hand quilted original by Mary Stefura.
