Storm At Sea
This king-sized quilt was made as a wedding gift for the daughter of long time friends. Although it doesn't show up too well, the colors for this quilt are cream and sage, so the 5 fabrics were chosen to reflect this by my DD (who doesn't quilt but is artistic and has a wonderful way with colors) and myself. The squares were all machine sewn (paper pieced because I didn't want to deal with matching all those pieces), assembled, and machine quilted in the ditch.
The label was a hostess gift from a swapper in the FQ exchange, and as soon as I saw it, I knew it was perfect for the back of this quilt. BTW, I have just recently found this label fabric and purchased several repeats of it - all the labels were just as beautiful as this one.
