William Stinson, (1755-1828), served as adjutant in Col. Samuel McCobb's regiment. He was born in Georgetown; died in Wiscasset, Maine.
Benjamin Woodbridge, (1711-97), was a member of the Assembly 1775 from Newcastle. He was born in Newbury, Mass.; died in Newcastle, Maine.
Joel Webb, (1748-1825), on his tombstone is inscribed “a soldier of the Revolution who fought at Bunker Hill.” He was born and died in Windham, Conn.
Jared Cone, Jr., (1760-1842), was placed on the pension roll for service as private, Connecticut line. He was born in Bolton, Conn.; died in Columbia, N. H.
Jared Cone, (1733-1807), served as lieutenant at the Lexington Alarm and as captain 1779. He was born and died in Bolton, Conn.

Walton Harris (1739-95) served in the army and while absent from home in Georgia his home was burned by the British. His wife and children took refuge in a hay stack. He was born in Brunswick Co., Va.; died in Greene Co., Ga.
Buckner Harris (1761-1821) served at the capture of Augusta, Ga. Solomon Strickland (1735-1818) served as a soldier. He died in Madison Co.
Alexander Thompson (1739-1815) was a refugee to Georgia where he served as a soldier at the battle of King's Mountain.
David Dickson (1750-1830) served on the frontier and commanded a volunteer company. He received land for his service. He was born in Pendleton Co., S. C.; died in Fayette Co., Ga.
Richard Burton (1735-1800) served in Georgia under Col. Elijah Clark. He died in Wilkes Co.
Jesse Womack (1739-1815) served under Gen. John Twiggs and received bounty land.

David Hodge (1754-1832) was pensioned in Litchfield Co., Conn., 1818 for six years' actual service as private in Capt. Charles Pond's company, 6th regiment, Conn. troops. In [p.163] 1826 he asked for his pension to be transferred to New York, so he could live with his children. His discharge showing service from 1777-83 is signed by Washington. He died in Coventry, N. Y.

John Bayard (1738-1807) was colonel of the second battalion, Penn. militia. He was born in Cecil Co., Md., removed to Pennsylvania 1756 and died in New Brunswick, N. J.
Edward Antill, Jr. (1742-89), a graduate of Columbia college, volunteered 1775 under Montgomery and was appointed chief engineer. In 1776 he was lieutenant colonel of Hazen's regiment “Congress Own;” was captured on Long Island and not exchanged until 1780. He commanded the regiment at Yorktown. He was born in Piscataqua, N. J.; died in St. Johns, Canada.
Zephaniah Platt, Jr. (1735-1807) served on the Committee of Safety and in the Provincial Congress. He was colonel of Associated Exempts of Dutchess Co. 1779. He was born in Huntington; died in Plattsburg, a town he founded.
Gerrit G. Lansing (1760-1831) served as ensign in Capt. Henry Tribout's company, Col. Peter Gansevoot's regiment, Brig. Gen. James Clinton's brigade 1779. Also served in Sullivan's western expedition and subsequently in Col. Van Schaick's regiment where he remained until the close of the war. He was born in Albany; died in Oriskany, N. Y.

Gr-gr-granddaughter of Daniel Cresap (1727-98) and Ruth Van Swearingen, his wife.
Gr-gr-gr-granddaughter of Thomas Cresap and Hannah Johnson, his wife.
Daniel Cresap, Jr. (1753-94), was lieutenant of Riflemen under his uncle, Capt. Michael Cresap, the first company sent to Boston, and was at the siege. He was taken prisoner at Fort Washington and endured many hardships.
Thomas Cresap (1702-88) was a member of the Committee of Safety, an organizer of the Sons of Liberty and an active patriot of Maryland.
John Taylor served in the Connecticut troops as “Light Horseman” [p.408] and also served at the Battle of Bunker Hill. After his marriage in Bridgeport, Conn., he removed to Maryland, where he died in Cumberland.

Benjamin Hodge, Jr. (1753-1835), turned out from Glastonbury in Capt. Jonathan Hale's company, Col. Erastus Wolcott's regiment, that occupied Boston after the evacuation. He went to sea 1777 in a merchant vessel which was captured by the British. He died in Buffalo, N. Y.

Anthony Smith (1752-1838) served four enlistments under different commands. His name is on the list of Waterbury Revolutionary soldiers, and he survived to receive a pension. He was born in New Haven; died in Waterbury, Conn.

Joseph Gamble was on the Philadelphia tax list and mentioned as pilot on the Delaware river in 1774 and 1780. His will was made June 4, 1796, probated June 28, 1796 and he was buried at Christ Church, Philadelphia.
