Attach a large pair of channel lock pliers to the back of the prop shaft, and insert your prop tool into the old prop. This sucker is TIGHT. I cannot emphasize exactly how tight it was. It took a combined human effort of about 350 pounds, plus a breaker bar, to loosen my old prop off. In the picture above, you can see the old prop on the left. Look closely at the differences in finish. You can see all the anomalies that are causing cavitation and drag. These are probably from various rocks I have sucked through the prop. Don't throw that old prop away, either. Skat Trak will refinish the prop for a pittance, and I highly recommend you do it, so you can have a spare.
