Bad Drag LinkFor starters, I received the longer of these two drag links. These adjust the ackerman on your servo saver, and ultimately determine how much "throw" you have. The problem is that the longer drag-link is from the T2, and I only discovered the problem after an hour of adjusting my front end to fit it. Turns out, this was a packaging error, and Associated had to ship me a new piece. |
Missing Spur GearI couldn't complete the transmission either due to the fact that I did not receive the stock 81 tooth spur gear for my B2. I ended up calling Associated, and they had to mail me out a new one. On the plus side, I was able to purchase a low rotating mass version made by Robinson Racing. Its lighter than the stock version, which should help acceleration. |
Missing 4-40 x 3/16 screws sent me back to the hobby shop a third time. By this time, I was thoroughly disappointed. In total, I had to go to Frank's four times. The fourth time was for missing front wheel nylon nuts. Associated is definately going to have to work on quality control on future kits.
