Annie Broughton was
born the youngest of eight children (4 boy and 4 girls) belonging
to John Green Broughton. Little is known about her at this time,
but according to her neice, Julia Ann Broughton Beamer, "Aunt
Annie" married a man whose last name was Green and had two
sons. They lived in Dubach for a time, but Annie's first husband
died. She joined the Air Force and while in the service met her
second husband somewhere in or around Maryland. Unfortunately
the marriage didn't last, and "Aunt "Annie's last known
whereabouts were in Washington DC, where she was reportedly living
with her youngest son.
