Saturday, September 06, 1997 - "Jet Planes are in my dreams..."

Finally got some decent plane noise with little background noise. Now I can sleep at night.

So peculiar sitting out in a field with headphones on under the sweltering sun; waiting for an errant airplane to fly low and overhead; praying that a chatty person or noisy truck doesn't decide to pull up alongside and make your life miserable; feeling like a total dork. But it was all worth it. I even got it in stereo.

That was part one of my Saturday. Part two was sitting down to dub. But I'll tell you all about that tomorrow. I wish I could be a little more granular with the editing. I'll just have to be patient, and make sure that I log everything. Pretty soon (possibly this Wednesday) I'll begin to transcribe it all to the website, under the film link. I'll call it the edit list.
